What's Happening?

Due to the federal government shutdown, SNAP benefits will be temporarily unavailable starting November 1, with service expected to resume once funding is restored. Here's what we recommend:

Cell phone with notification

Check your balance

Check your current EBT balance at your state’s SNAP portal or by calling the number on the back of your card.

Save existing benefits

Save or stretch existing benefits by planning meals and prioritizing non-perishable items.

Local food support

Look for local food support — many food banks, pantries, and WIC programs are still operating during the shutdown.
